Agreement & Definitions
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you", or "your") and VoloWeb Internet Services ("VoloWeb", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of all services available at voloweb.io.
By creating an account, purchasing a service, or otherwise accessing our platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Key Definitions
- "Services" — Web hosting, VPS, cloud hosting, domain registration, business email, reseller hosting, and any other products or features offered by VoloWeb.
- "Account" — Your registered user profile through which you access and manage Services.
- "Content" — Any data, files, text, images, or other material you upload, store, or transmit via our Services.
- "Control Panel" — The client area accessible at voloweb.io/client for managing your account and services.
- "Billing Cycle" — The recurring period (monthly, annual, or multi-year) for which a Service is purchased.
These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and any Service-specific policies published on our website. In case of conflict, the more specific policy takes precedence.
Eligibility & Account
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering a binding contract under applicable law to use our Services. By registering, you represent that you satisfy these requirements. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you additionally represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
2.2 Account Registration
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for all activities that occur under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at support@voloweb.io if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
- VoloWeb will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to take reasonable security precautions.
2.3 One Account per Customer
Each person or organisation may hold one primary account unless otherwise agreed in writing. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits, refund policies, or abuse protections is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of all associated accounts.
Services Provided
VoloWeb provides the following categories of Services, each subject to these Terms and any applicable service-specific addenda:

VoloWeb reserves the right to modify, add, or discontinue any Service at any time. Where a Service is discontinued, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and a pro-rata refund for unused prepaid periods.
Billing & Payment
4.1 Pricing and Fees
All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of GST (currently 18%) unless explicitly stated otherwise. The applicable GST will be added at checkout. Prices for international customers may be billed in USD or other currencies as displayed at the time of purchase.
4.2 Renewal and Auto-Pay
- Services are sold on a prepaid, recurring basis. They will automatically renew at the end of each Billing Cycle at the then-current renewal rate unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Renewal invoices are generated and emailed 14 days before the due date for monthly plans and 30 days before for annual plans.
- It is your responsibility to ensure your payment method remains valid and has sufficient funds.
- Failure to pay on the due date may result in service suspension after a 3-day grace period and termination after a further 7 days.
4.3 Payment Methods
We accept UPI, RuPay, Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Net Banking, and other methods listed in our billing portal. Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways; VoloWeb does not store your full card details.
4.4 Taxes
You are responsible for all taxes applicable to your purchase. Where VoloWeb is legally required to collect GST, it will be added to your invoice. Customers registered for GST may provide their GSTIN to receive a compliant tax invoice.
Prices are subject to change. We will notify existing customers of price increases at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel before the new price takes effect without penalty.
Refund Policy
5.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
For new purchases of Shared Hosting, Cloud Hosting, and WordPress Hosting plans, VoloWeb offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your hosting service for any reason, contact our support team within 30 days of the initial purchase date and we will issue a full refund of the hosting fees paid.
5.2 Refund Exclusions
The following are explicitly excluded from refund eligibility:
- Domain name registrations and transfers — All domain transactions are non-refundable once processed, as the registry fee is non-recoverable.
- VPS and Dedicated Server plans — Due to immediate resource allocation on purchase.
- Reseller Hosting plans — Non-refundable after account setup and credentials are issued.
- Renewals of any service — Renewals are not covered by the money-back guarantee.
- Add-on services — SSL certificates (where purchased separately), migration services, and priority support packages.
- Accounts terminated for Terms violations — No refund will be issued where an account is terminated due to a breach of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
- Any service used beyond reasonable fair use that would not have been considered during the trial period.
5.3 How to Request a Refund
Submit a refund request via the support portal at voloweb.io/client. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to your original payment method. GST paid will be refunded in accordance with applicable regulations.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use VoloWeb's Services only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable laws. The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or termination without refund:
6.1 Prohibited Content
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content exploiting minors.
- Content that promotes, glorifies, or facilitates terrorism, violence, or hate crimes.
- Defamatory, harassing, or discriminatory content targeting individuals or protected groups.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights.
- Fraudulent content, phishing pages, or impersonation of legitimate businesses.
6.2 Prohibited Activities
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operating an open mail relay.
- Conducting or participating in denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against any target.
- Mining cryptocurrencies using shared hosting resources.
- Running scripts, bots, or automated processes that excessively consume CPU, RAM, or bandwidth beyond your plan's allocation.
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to other systems, accounts, or networks.
- Distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful software.
- Operating proxy services, Tor exit nodes, or anonymising services on shared infrastructure.
- Reselling VoloWeb services in violation of your plan terms (except authorised Reseller accounts).
6.3 Resource Usage
Shared hosting plans are provided for normal website operations. Accounts that consistently use excessive server resources (CPU spikes, high MySQL queries, abnormal I/O) affecting other customers may be throttled or asked to upgrade to a higher-tier plan. VoloWeb will make reasonable efforts to contact you before taking action.
Violations of the Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate account suspension without prior notice, particularly where the activity poses a security risk to VoloWeb infrastructure or other customers.
Content & Your Data
7.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of all Content you upload to VoloWeb's servers. VoloWeb claims no intellectual property rights over your Content. You grant VoloWeb a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and transmit your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you.
7.2 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all Content hosted on your account, including content generated by third-party users of your website or application. VoloWeb is not responsible for reviewing Content and does not endorse any Content or opinions expressed therein.
7.3 Backups
VoloWeb performs automated daily backups on most hosting plans as a courtesy and does not guarantee the availability or recoverability of any specific backup. You are strongly advised to maintain independent backups of all critical data. VoloWeb's backup service is not a substitute for your own backup strategy and VoloWeb accepts no liability for data loss.
7.4 Data on Termination
Upon account termination or service cancellation, your Content will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. Backups may be retained for up to 60 days before deletion. VoloWeb is not obligated to provide you with a copy of your Content after termination; you are responsible for exporting data before cancellation.
Uptime & Service Level Agreement (SLA)
8.1 Uptime Commitment
VoloWeb commits to a network uptime of 99.9% per calendar month for Shared Hosting, Cloud Hosting, and VPS services, measured at the network level. This translates to no more than approximately 43 minutes of unplanned downtime per month.
8.2 SLA Credits
If uptime falls below the committed threshold in any month, eligible customers may claim service credits as follows:

8.3 SLA Exclusions
The SLA does not apply to downtime caused by:
- Scheduled or emergency maintenance communicated in advance.
- DDoS attacks or force-majeure events beyond VoloWeb's reasonable control.
- Customer-initiated actions (e.g., script errors, incorrect configurations, resource exhaustion).
- Third-party services or DNS propagation issues.
- Actions taken to enforce these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
SLA credits must be requested within 15 days of the incident via the support portal and will be applied as account credit, not cash refunds.
Domain Names
9.1 ICANN Policies
Domain registrations are subject to the policies of ICANN and the relevant registries. By registering a domain, you agree to ICANN's Registrant Rights and Responsibilities and the relevant registry's terms and conditions.
9.2 WHOIS Accuracy
You are required to provide and maintain accurate WHOIS contact information for all domain registrations. Providing false WHOIS data is grounds for domain deletion by the registry. VoloWeb includes free WHOIS privacy protection (where permitted by the registry) to shield your contact details from public lookup.
9.3 Domain Renewals and Expiry
- Domains must be renewed before the expiry date to maintain ownership. VoloWeb sends renewal reminders at 60, 30, and 7 days before expiry.
- Expired domains enter a Redemption Grace Period (typically 30 days) during which recovery is possible at a higher redemption fee.
- Domains not renewed during the redemption period are released for public registration.
- VoloWeb accepts no liability for loss of a domain name due to your failure to renew on time.
9.4 Domain Transfers
Outbound domain transfers require the generation of an authorisation (EPP/AUTH) code from your Control Panel. VoloWeb will not impose any transfer-out fee beyond costs required by the registry. Domains must be unlocked before initiating a transfer.
Intellectual Property
10.1 VoloWeb's IP
The VoloWeb name, logo, website design, software, documentation, and all associated intellectual property are owned by or licensed to VoloWeb and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent.
10.2 Feedback
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding our Services, you grant VoloWeb a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide licence to use such feedback for any purpose without obligation or compensation to you.
10.3 DMCA / Copyright Takedown
VoloWeb complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and applicable Indian copyright law. If you believe content hosted on our platform infringes your copyright, please send a takedown notice to legal@voloweb.io with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work and the infringing material.
- Your contact information and a statement of good faith belief.
- A declaration that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- VoloWeb's total cumulative liability arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
- VoloWeb shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or business interruption, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- VoloWeb provides all Services on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by Indian law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VoloWeb, its directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
- Your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.
- Your Content, including any claim that your Content infringes the rights of any third party.
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Any claim made by a third party using your account or Services.
VoloWeb reserves the right to assume control of the defence of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with VoloWeb in asserting any available defences.
Termination
13.1 Termination by You
You may cancel any Service at any time through the Control Panel or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current Billing Cycle unless you request immediate termination. Prepaid fees for unused periods are subject to the Refund Policy in Section 5.
13.2 Termination by VoloWeb
VoloWeb may suspend or terminate your account with or without notice in the following circumstances:
- Violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
- Non-payment of fees beyond the grace period.
- Provision of false or misleading account information.
- Court order, law enforcement request, or legal obligation.
- Account posing an immediate security risk to VoloWeb or other customers.
13.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access and use the Services ceases immediately. VoloWeb will delete your Content within 30 days. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 10, 11, 12, and 14) will remain in force.
Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. The parties expressly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India for resolution of any dispute arising under these Terms.
14.2 Informal Resolution
Before initiating any formal proceeding, you agree to contact VoloWeb at legal@voloweb.io to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. VoloWeb will use good faith efforts to resolve the issue within 30 days of receiving your notice.
14.3 Arbitration
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including questions of validity, breach, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India. The seat of arbitration shall be India and the language of proceedings shall be English.
14.4 Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis only and not as a class, collective, or representative action.
Changes to Terms
VoloWeb reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
- Send an email notification to your registered email address at least 14 days before changes take effect.
- Display a prominent notice within your Control Panel.
Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you disagree with any revised Terms, you must stop using the Services and cancel your account before the effective date.
For non-material changes (such as clarifications, typo fixes, or changes required by law), the revised Terms take effect immediately upon posting.
